FHNB NEW STARZ COMPETITION RULES:

RULES:

1. A separate, good CDs must be submitted with each entry. All CDs must have the song title and contestant ID# written on the label. Please have a back up CD for each entry.

2. Props are permissible, however they must be pre-set and cleared from the stage within a 2 minute time frame.

3. Competing dancers and their supporters are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and general support of all participants.

4. All contestants authorize FHNB NEW STARZ™ to use their photographs and video for any future materials promoting the FHNB NEW STARZ™ Talent Competition.

5. A time schedule will be posted on our website, fhnbnewstarz.com , one week prior to the event.

6. FHNB NEW STARZ™ Competition reserves the right to move the competition location due to unforeseen circumstances. Contestants must perform on the day designated on the schedule.

7. There will be no refunds, however if a contestant is unable to compete due to medical reasons and accompanied with a letter from a doctor, then FHNB NEW STARZ™ Talent Competition will issue a credit voucher which can utilized for another competition the same year or the following.

8. To ensure an accurate schedule, dancers should be in costume and stage ready 5 numbers prior to their performance.

9. There will be a $25 charge for all returned cheques.

10. Admission is free and the general public is welcome to attend.

11. Each judge will score on technique, showmanship, execution and overall performance with each judge giving a possible total of 30 points. Decision of the judges is final.

12. If the judges feel a routine is inappropriate or a costume is too suggestive for family viewing, you will be disqualified. Use of suggestive material or obscene language will be disqualified

13. Performers may enter as many divisions as desired and compete against themselves.

14. No additional sound equipment or microphones can be used. FHNB NEW STARZ™ Talent Competition will provide a corded microphone for Song and Dance.
ENTRY DEADLINE IS July 15, 2009.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING: (1) Entries by telephone (2) Entries without entry fees.

WINNERS IN EACH CATEGORY WILL RECEIVE CASH PRIZES, GIFT CERTIFICATES, OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM AT FHNB EXPOSE, ROUND UP CENTRE NOVEMBER 18 AND 19TH, 2009, TELEVISION/RADIO INTERVIEW PLUS...

1ST PLACE WINNERS: $500.00, Prizes and Gift Certificates.

FHNB NEW STARZ™ reserves the right to move the competition site due to unforeseen circumstances. Contestants must perform on the day and time designated. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ON AN OFFICIAL FHNB NEW STARZ™ ENTRY FORM. Please feel free to download one from our website www.fhnbnewstarz.com. After a cheque has been returned all future entries must be accompanied by a money order.
